The first time I held the camera in my hands, it felt good to press the shutter release button and to see my pictures developed. These were images of what I saw and captured.

Years later, libraries later, cameras later, gazillions of shots later — I realized the root of liking to press the button. It is the momentary lapses of expressive wisdom that's called "art", being in the thought-space of the experiment that I perform with every shot. Especially when I know that I will like the end-result. It is the ever-growing magnitude of complexity of the experiment increasing with every gramm of my experience. It is having the strength to say to myself that I know how to create and not look at Ansel Adams. Don't care if I steal from nature. My art IS the nature. My nature.
