Evguenia Cheinis was born in Saint Petersburg Russia.
She studied fine art at Junior Art College, High School of Art and Aesthetics and St. Petersburg State Academy of Art
and Industry A. L. Stieglitz.

In 1995 Evguenia immigrated to Toronto and received her Bachelor Degree of Design with Honours from Sheridan College and York University joint Graphic Design program.

I believe that Art is a physical representation of our energy, thoughts and feelings. The process of creation feels to me like that of weaving energy world with the physical one and exploring their correlation and differences.

I love to see, feel and show what this world really seems like by opening to senses beyond five and spilling the visions and symbolism onto canvas. Some of the themes I explore are concepts of self-realization, freedom, happiness and oneness… I hope that my canvases may open viewers to an internal dialogue of personal growth and happiness.
